New Zealand is a country of 4 million people. Three million live on the North Island with 400,000 living in Wellington, the nations capital. Mark & Pam Roberts have been called by the Lord to go by the power of His Holy Spirit to plant a Calvary Chapel in Wellington.

Currently God has done a great work in softening the hearts of the New Zealanders and they are very open and hungry for the Good News of Jesus Christ. The nation is very liberal and has become very tolerant of many things including just recently legalizing prostitution. They have also been recently named the second most secular nation in the world. The Christians who are there have been ripped off by many false teachers for the last two decades. The Robertses have a vision to bring Calvary-Chapel-style evangelism and Bible teaching to this lost nation.

 Our overseas shipping container is (finally) scheduled to arrive this Tuesday, after almost 14 weeks!!! 11.04.04
 Calvary Satellite Radio, which is similar to CSN in the States, has just gone on the FM airwaves here in Wellington! We're currently broadcasting out of our home, and it's 24/7 worship and Calvary pastors teaching. Praise the Lord for this! 11.04.04
 We've been given the go-ahead to use the building we've been praying for. We had our first Wednesday night Bible study this week (in Philippians), and we're still waiting to hear about renting it for Sunday morning services. 11.04.04
 We purchased airline tickets to New Zealand today. I leave next week and Pam & Mckenzie leave toward the end of Sept. 08.24.04
 Our son Jonathan has started CC Bible College at Murrieta this week. (A huge blessing for him and us but we will still miss him greatly). 08.24.04
 Our house closed escrow yesterday! The overseas shipping container is due to arrive this Fri., Aug. 27. God has faithfully opened many doors and blessed us in many ways. 08.24.04
